Deliah Bernard Appointed Indigenous Youth Representative

OTTAWA – The Young Liberals of Canada (YLC) and Indigenous Peoples’ Commission (IPC) of the Liberal Party of Canada are excited to announce the appointment of Deliah Bernard as IPC Vice-Chair of Indigenous Youth & YLC Indigenous Youth Representative. A member of the We’koqma’q (Waycobah) First Nation in Nova Scotia, she has been deeply involved with the Young Liberals both in her home of Cape Breton and at Carleton University in Ottawa. A leader in her community, Deliah will bring her enthusiasm and experience to both executives and looks forward to helping welcome more Indigenous youth into the Liberal movement.
