VANCOUVER – The Aboriginal Peoples’ Commission of the Liberal Party of Canada is proud to announce that Jody Wilson-Raybould has been acclaimed as the newest Liberal candidate to join #TeamTrudeau!

Tonight, Vancouver Granville Liberals told the rest of Canada that they want good governance, progressive values and government accountability.” said Sheryl Fisher, president of the Aboriginal Peoples’ Commission in British Columbia.

Jody Wilson-Raybould is a proud member of the We Wai Kai Nation and has vast experience in First Nations politics and the legal field. She was elected twice as the Assembly of First Nations Regional Chief for British Columbia, and recently co-chaired the Liberal Party of Canada’s Biennial Convention in Montreal. Her website describes her as a candidate who understands the balance between fueling a growing economy and protecting our fragile environment.
