A member of the We’koqma’q (Waycobah) First Nation in Nova Scotia, she has been deeply involved with the Young Liberals both in her home of Cape Breton and at Carleton University in Ottawa. A leader in her community, Deliah will bring her enthusiasm and experience to both executives and looks forward to helping welcome more Indigenous youth into the Liberal movement. “The Indigenous Peoples Commission’s efforts to engage Indigenous youth within and beyond the Liberal Party are of vital importance.
