Any Officer so named shall serve until the next biennial meeting of the Aboriginal Commission.” The APC seeks to fill the following vacancy, through an open selection process effective July 28, 2015: National Vice-President (Communications) Individuals interested in the above noted volunteer position with the Aboriginal Peoples’ Commission are required to submit the following: Proof of current membership with the Liberal Party of Canada; Proof that they meet the criteria set forth within the APC Constitution to be a member of the APC; Cover Letter detailing their communications experience; Resume; and Three (3) references (reference letters are permissible). The purpose of the Aboriginal Peoples’ Commission is to represent and promote the interests of Indigenous peoples in the Party, to encourage the active participation of Indigenous peoples at all levels of the Party, to encourage and co-ordinate the activities of the recognized aboriginal Liberal associations and to gather the views of Indigenous Liberals on a regular basis and communicate those views to the Party.” Please ensure that “Your Name” – “Desired Position” are in the subject line of your email.
